He studies migration processes in the countries of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula, their impact on politics and interstate relations. Key areas of research are the dynamics of migration flows from Mexico and Central American countries to the United States, the regional format of mobility in South America, as well as changes taking place in Spain and Portugal. Studies the history and contemporary problems of political and social development of the MERCOSUR member countries – Paraguay and Uruguay.
